For such a shaky ride its recommended to use a good gimbal.
That would have helped for sure. Originally we didn’t think we’d be able to go ashore due to the backup. Tendering was halted for quite some time. Riding up was never part of the plan so the camera setup was makeshift in the moment.
@@DisneyCruiseLineBlog I'd suggest for your future trips an excellent and well stabilized camera as DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

Actually they made that half a mile pier to avoid dredging and harming up the reefs. They were very careful when doing this.
If they can make it like St. Croix or Barbados pier that would be great. It’s half walk area and half tram for everyone.
I wanted to shout out...are you there yet? That was a brisk walk. Did it take longer to get back to the ship after a full day enjoying Lighthouse Point? I fully understand and appreciate why they built it but my wife would be exhausted after that walk especially if it is a hot day. How easy is it to get a ride from the ship and back?
I just can’t even watch with all the flies.
I wish DCL would put these out in high-res officially. The Mac can do dynamic screensavers / lock screens / wallpaper now and these would be PERFECT for that.

We will be visiting both Castaway and Lookout Cay during our cruise on The Dream, so any information about this new venture is so exciting! The sound to hear the discussion was a little muffled, but tried to hear everyone talk as best as possible. Do you happen to have a closer, more zoomed in picture of the island layout? Sorry, I am not able to answer this question. Partially because this content is a nearly 2 years old and I cannot say for sure if the exact packages are the same today.

This is a free activity and you do not need to sign up. I would recommend showing up early before the listed event start time as the line can become long.
